Detailed Itinerary for 3 DAY HONEYMOON TRIP TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK


Day 1: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.

After an early breakfast, Our driver guide will pick you and then hit the road to Masindi where the magnificent Murchison Falls Park is situated, Along the way in Nakasongola, visit the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary, the only place where you can find white Rhinos in East Africa, have lunch there and then continue your journey to the park. Dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and an Afternoon boat cruise

Wake up early for a cup of coffee / tea and embark on a morning game drive in search for early raisers as well as predators returning to their hideouts. During this game drive, expect an encounter with the African lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes and Giraffes among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast as we wait for lunch.

 

Gather your strength after lunch for a fantastic launch cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls. This is a birders paradise with over 450 species, huge crocodiles, Hippos and Elephants basking on the shores, and there after hike to the top of the falls. This is an experience that you should not miss: Watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the splash on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Sheer sensory overload! Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Drive back to Kampala.

After a morning breakfast, you will cross the Nile River with the ferry for an optional short game drive or visit the fishing village near Lake Albert as you depart Murchison Falls National park if time allows. Then continue your journey back to Kampala. Stop in Masindi town for lunch enroute, you will reach Kampala late in the afternoon.
